| Each semester, English department students created short stories that were later bound into a novel. Each semester got better and better. ~^^ Themes examined were truth, justice and liberty (the motto of Korea University). Titles, by semester, are given below. spring 2004 Title: Story Garden. Themes meditated on were truth, justice and liberty Freshmen compiled We Will Bring Stories using the same themes. fall 2003 Title: Maiden Flight. Total number of pages? About 580! Themes examined were truth, justice and liberty spring 2003 Title: 64 Trees in BW. Themes considered were truth, justice and liberty. Freshmen made Inside the Kaleidoscope. fall 2002 Title: Anam Blossoms. Themes explored were truth, justice, friendship and confidence. spring 2002 Title: Spring's Harvest. Themes addressed were: life/death, good/evil, truth/reality, friend/foe, justice, and confidence. fall 2001 Our first experiment with this short story project~^^ These were later bound into our first bound work, Bedtime Stories. Themes ranged from love and friendship to truth and justice. spring 2001 Article Reactions fall 2000 Journal Quotes of the week (Wanna see what your upper-classmen were writing and thinking years ago? Click on Journal Quotes; cool stuff^^) spring 2000 Students work focused on information gathering strategies; types of essays included persuasion, definition, description, cause/effect, storytelling and illustration.
